On Day 1, we will travel to the Mindo Cloudforest which is a 2.5 hour drive from the airport. This cloudforest is one of the most biodiverse cloudforests in the world with about 130 herp species; 36 of them being snakes.

On Day 2, we plan to leave the cloudforest around 9:00am to travel to the Chocó Rainforest, the second most biodiverse area of the world. We will be staying at a mid-range lodge for the next 4 nights with plenty of trails and incredible biodiversity.

On Day 6, we plan to leave around 9:00am to return to the Mindo Cloudforest for another night to search for more cloudforest endemics.

On Day 7, we will head back to Quito to drop anybody off at the airport.
